Mythology and the starry sky

The lecture "Mythology and the Starry Sky" will introduce visitors to the most fascinating myths and legends of ancient Greece, whose heroes were represented in constellation drawings: in particular, the myths of the hunter Orion, the exploits of Hercules, the love of the poet Orpheus and Eurydice, and, of course, the miraculous rescue of the beautiful Andromeda by Perseus. Don't miss the opportunity to learn how the seasons were explained in Antiquity and which gods were identified with different natural phenomena.
