Free space sessions for schoolchildren of Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region

From December 1, 2023, Planetarium Noosphere is expanding its socially oriented activities, introducing, together with the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council, free space sessions (astronomy and natural science lessons) for students in grades 1-11 of the city of Dnipro, which will take place every week from Monday to Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. until June 2024.
To sign up for a free space session for students of grades 1-11 in Dnipro, it is necessary to contact the administration of the educational institution, which will form groups of students and centrally organize the visit.

Also, together with the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration, Planetarium Noosphere is introducing free space sessions (astronomy and natural science lessons) for students in grades 1-11 of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, which will be held every Friday at 10:00 a.m. until June 2024.
To register for a free space session for students of grades 1-11 of secondary education institutions of the Dnipropetrovsk region, it is necessary to contact the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

Interactive quests will be held for students of grades 1-4, which will include familiarization with the basics of astronomy in a game form and watching a full-dome cartoon. For students in grades 5-11, there are educational space sessions, which will include a tour of the Planetarium Noosphere exhibit with a space guide, a stay in the virtual reality zone, and viewing a full-dome movie.
In addition, as a socially responsible project, already in the first weeks after the start of the full-scale invasion, Planetarium Noosphere joined volunteering and, together with the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council, opened its doors to Ukrainians from other cities who found refuge in the city of Dnipro, with the aim of providing emotional support during free space sessions.
To date, more than 8,500 people, including 7,000 children, have visited the free Planetarium Noosphere sessions.
