Evolution of the Universe

How did the Universe emerge and what was there before the stars? Where are planets born and why is Earth special? How do black holes affect the entire galaxy and what will happen when the Milky Way collides with Andromeda?
The program “Evolution of the Universe” will take you on a journey through billions of years of space history: from the first stellar nurseries to galaxy collisions. We will learn how stars are formed from a cloud of space gas and dust, how planets are born around them, and how water appeared on Earth. We will explore how the Moon was formed, why Io is a world of volcanoes, and why Europa hides underneath its icy crust not only the ocean, but possibly the simplest forms of life.

The 90-minute program of the Planetarium visit includes:

- a tour around the expo zone
- a live lecture – space journey simulation
- a screening of the fulldome film “Final Frontier” in the Star Theater.

Children aged between 4 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult to visit the Planetarium. An individual ticket is required for each person.
Children under 4 will not be admitted to the Star Theater.
