The Dream of Flight: From the Hot-Air Balloon to Spacecraft

The ability to fly is one of humanity’s greatest dreams. Step by step, Leonardo da Vinci’s designs for flying machines, the Montgolfier brothers’ hot-air balloons, the Wright brothers’ airplane, and Sikorsky’s helicopter brought us closer to making this dream a reality… And then, in 1969, humans set foot on the surface of the Moon for the first time.

To experience the thrill of flight, let us embark together on a journey through space and time. We will see the first hot-air balloon, observe a solar eclipse from aboard an aircraft, venture into Earth orbit, where we will spot artificial satellites and the International Space Station, land on the Moon, and even try to imagine what the spacecraft that will carry the first humans to Mars might look like.

The 90-minute Planetarium program includes:
- a guided tour of the exhibition area
- a live space journey simulation in the Star Theater
- the fulldome film “Galactic Voyage” in the Star Theater

Children aged 4 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult. An individual ticket is required for each visitor.

Children under the age of 4 are not admitted to the Star Theater.
